Directions
from Florence
Airport (2
Hours) and Arezzo
(45 minutes) - Follow
signs for Autostrada A1 direction ROME
- After
60 kilometers, take exit AREZZO.
Past the toll turn left, following the sign AREZZO.
- After
10 kilometres you will get to a big traffic light intersection: follow
the sign SANSEPOLCRO -
ANGHIARI on the left.
- Circling the
southern part of Arezzo, follow the signs for SANSEPOLCRO.
- Stay
on this road to Sansepolcro for about 25 kilometers.
- Pass
several small villages, including LE
VILLE.
- A few kilometers after Le
Ville you will see a small blue sign "ANGHIARI - CAPRESE MICHELANGELO"
to the left.
- Follow this all the way
into ANGHIARI
and turn right at the stop sign, (there is a tiny fountain on your
left).
- You will see a wonderful view of the
fortifications of Anghiari to the right.
- After 4
big horse shoe turns there will be a road that goes into the country on
your left with a sign CAPRESE
MICHELANGELO, turn left
- After 11
kilometers and having passed MANZI
you will arrive at CARONI
S.CRISTOFORO.
- To your left there is
a petrol station with a yellow and green API sign, and the
‘Ginetto’ Bar
- At this point the road forks. Take
the left hand fork, signposted to CAPRESE
MICHELANGELO.
- After a few hundred
meters you will see a three storey white building on your left.
- Directly
after this building there is a small road to the left (which looks like
a driveway) with blue signs with white type that say "Gorfi, Radicata, Priello".
- Take this road which passes behind this building.
- Take
the first road to the right and you pass through a small group of
houses (please drive slowly). Ignore the private property signs, just
continue.
- Immediately after, the road becomes a
country road without tarmac for the first section. After this the road
is cemented but sometimes a little curvy and steep.
- After
about 1.0 kilometer you will see "Radicata"
and "Priello"
signposts. At this point, (of three possibilities left, straight or
right), go straight ahead to your holiday home “Villa Radicata”
